The fur surface of non-adhesive Velcro is specially treated to prevent fluff or snagging. It typically uses a loop pile weave structure, and the rough surface is smooth and refined, unlike the hook-and-thorn structure found in traditional Velcro. This design makes the matte surface soft and smooth to the touch, ensuring it won’t hook or scratch skin, clothing, or other delicate surfaces.
Non-adhesive Velcro is ideal for applications that require frequent opening and closing. Since the matte surface lacks the hooks and thorns of traditional Velcro, it is less prone to shedding fibers during use. Although non-stick Velcro has no hooks, it still maintains good stickiness and durability through optimized weaving process and material selection.
